Macro inside Visual Studio
posted by Lars Hundebøl # 10:48 p.m.
This tutorial shows how to insert a Macro which inserts a GUID into the current open document in Visual Studio (VS). Very usefull.
This eliminates the process of first to open Create GUID from the External Tools menu in VS, and then copy a GUID into the clipboard, with curly brakets around it. The curly bracket usally then has to be removed, after it has been pasted inside the document in VS.
The tutorial suggests to create a keyboard shortcut, I instead, created a button in the toolbar.
